I have a confession to make: For the past ten years, I have been obsessed with a single question; My obsession with accelerated personal growth began when I started working on my self-awareness.

I quickly noticed a sense of purpose and fulfillment. I was no longer aimlessly searching for more; I knew I was on to something.

Since my initial obsession, I have changed my life for the better countless times, and I am grateful for the opportunities and experiences I gained along the way.

A short disclaimer, it wasn’t always like that, and before I became the force in my own life, I was utterly lost.

For a long time, I believed personal development was about doing things right and reaching my goals, and that couldn’t be further from the truth.

Personal development results from visiting all the places we usually don’t want to acknowledge exist or show others. It is here most self-discovery and self-improvement take place.
Yes, it is all those uncomfortable places we have tried to escape our whole life.

Dysfunctional communication, the lack of boundaries, and relationship patterns always end in tears and heartbreak.

Procrastination, bad decisions, and that debilitating self-doubt.
It is where we keep it all in for fear of exploding.

Personal growth is not results — it is mostly letting go of limiting beliefs, self-defeating behaviors, and all bad habits we use to numb our feelings.

To improve and grow into humble yet powerful human beings, we must take responsibility for our actions and move on quickly without dwelling on the past.

I invite you to question the following:

Knowing our strengths and weaknesses can help us focus on developing our strengths and improving areas where we may struggle.

What do I want to achieve in life?

A clear vision for our life helps us set meaningful goals and stay motivated on our personal growth journey, even on the bad days.

What are my habits and routines?

Habits and routines have a significant impact on our personal growth. Asking what habits and practices are in place and which are holding us back can be transformative questions.

What are my stress sources, and how do I currently manage them?

Long-term stress harms our well-being and hinders our personal growth. It’s important to identify sources of long-term stress and develop coping strategies to manage them effectively.

Who are the people in my life, and how do they impact me?

Our relationships can have a profound impact on our personal growth. We wake up when we consider the people in our lives and how they support or hinder our growth.

What do I want to learn or develop?

Learning and developing new skills can help us develop and grow. Identifying what we want to know is one step closer to planning to achieve those goals.


While there is no one-size-fits-all approach to personal growth, some common pitfalls and best practices can help us accelerate our progress efficiently.
